Whenever a client asks if their child is the hardest ever to photography, I always chuckle and say no. Why? Because MY CHILD is by far the MOST DIFFICULT to photograph of anyone’s. I took her to downtown Madison for her 18mo session. While my normal sessions last 45 to 60 minutes in length – not Kate’s. It lasted a whopping 12 minutes before she was DONE. Had it, no more. But, the few I got are near and dear to my heart.
August has definitely been a month for babies! This little bundle of joy was my sleeping baby. She kept fighting it but finally gave in at the end. I just love the beautiful moments captured with her and her family.
The S. Family is my second family to photograph with twins. It is certainly one of the most challenging types of portrait session. But hey, I’ve never been one to shy away from a good challenge! These little guys are truly miracles and were a joy to play with for an hour! As you can tell, I was in LOVE with their red couch. Such great color and texture! Many answered and continued prayers for you guys!
Downtown Madison has turned into a bit of a hot spot! I had a great time capturing Miss K. as she turned one year old. I love her expressions, and she is one of the easiest going babies that I know! What a great time I’ve had capturing her images over the last year. Thanks guys!
Congrats to my friends the M. family! What a beautiful little girl they have, sweet baby B! She’s by far the easiest going baby I think I have photographed yet. After 4 or 5 outfit changes, she was still as happy as can be. You guys are truly blessed!
“Watch Out!” was a common phrase on this Saturday morning for more than one reason. First, the swarms of mosquitoes had us constantly moving and swatting and everything in between. I even had to Photoshop one off of the photos! Secondly, this little man was on the move. Good thing I’d had a cup of coffee before heading out to downtown Madison to shoot! He was a lot of fun to follow and capture at this benchmark in his life. Happy Birthday Mr. H!
I was so excited when a friend of mine from high school called to ask if I would photograph her daughter’s one year birthday party! Although my sister and I tag-teamed photographing Kate’s 1 year party (which is tough by the way when you are both Mom and Photographer), I had never photographed someone else’s birthday party. It was lots of fun, and my Kate had a blast playing with Miss L! Happy Birthday Miss L!
