Miss C Turns 1!
This little girl is always so happy to have her picture taken! While her big sister isn’t as enthralled at the idea of photos, you can count on Miss C to have a big smile (and now a smile with a few teeth)!

Hats Galore!
I LOVE props and am always keeping my eye out for the latest and greatest photo accessories. Tassels, pom-poms … I love them all! Want one similar to any of these for your little munchkin? K.C. Number 2
I’ve been blessed to be able to photograph not one but TWO adorable Kate Coopers! Both are precious, but I have to admit – K.C. Number 2 is MUCH EASIER to photograph than my K.C.! She’s always so happy and smiling! Don’t you agree!?!

Happily Ever After
Despite the frigid temps outside (hovered around freezing for the entire session), this couple truly had the spark! I had such a great time following them around Big Spring Park for their newly wed photos. Congrats you guys and best wishes!

Baby J.
What cuties my friend has! Luckily, my client wanted matching pictures for her two children’s 1-yr photos so I photographed Baby J. with the letters spelling his name to match his sister’s that I did nearly three years ago (has it really been that long?!?). Anyways, they both are so precious!

Family Session
I’ve known this family for quite some time now, and they are always so much fun to photograph! I was quite honored to come back for the second year in a row to photograph them at Christmas time. And what a wonderful time it was considering Mrs. M. was expecting her third in only a few short days away!

Imaging USA 2010
What an awesome day I spent this past weekend at the Imaging USA 2010 Photography Expo. For 5 1/2 hours I walked the expo floor inside the Gaylord Opryland Hotel’s Convention Center. I got to hear presentations from some of my favorite photographers like Lori Nordstrom and Vicki Taufer. I also saw Sandy Puc, Ed Pierce, Becker, and so many more fantastic photographers! I picked up a new style of photo frames for babies and kids and also a new prop … it’s a petticoat on steroids! Can’t wait to shoot my little one’s 1 year photos in it!

This was perhaps one of my toughest shoots! They say never mix business and friendship (or family in this case). But, my talented sister has done so much for me that I couldn’t say no. She needed a self-portrait for her freelance work and wanted something edgy. So, we headed to downtown Madison for an hour of fun!
